Texture you can feel
The surface is built up and worked by hand before the matte finish goes on. Run a palm across it and the grain is unmistakably made rather than moulded — the reason two Olea pieces standing side by side are never quite the same.

Heavier looking than it is
It reads as a solid block of concrete across the room, then you pick it up with one hand. We move it between the deck and the living room constantly.

The texture is the whole point
Photographs do not quite catch it. The surface has a grain you want to run your hand over, and the olive shifts warmer in the afternoon.

Smaller than I pictured, still right
Check the measurements twice, it is a compact piece. Once it was in place next to the armchair the scale made sense. Took about two weeks to arrive.
